ThinkAhead provides comprehensive psychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults across Sydney, with clinics in Frenchs Forest and Meadowbank. Our assessments are conducted by registered psychologists and cover learning disabilities, neurodevelopmental conditions, and cognitive ability. No referral required.
A psychological assessment is a structured clinical evaluation conducted by a registered psychologist to understand how a person thinks, learns, processes information, and functions across different settings. Unlike a school report or a GP consultation, a formal psychological assessment uses standardised, norm-referenced tools to produce a diagnostic picture that is recognised by schools, employers, funding bodies, and the NDIS.
At the end of the process, you receive a detailed written report covering the assessment findings, a cognitive or learning profile, and clear recommendations tailored to your or your child's specific needs — whether that's school adjustments, NDIS support planning, workplace accommodations, or targeted therapy referrals.
ThinkAhead provides the following specialist assessments from our Sydney clinics. Select the assessment that best matches your concerns, or contact our team if you're unsure — we'll help identify the right starting point at intake.
